Mr. James started R.James in 1924 with employees just like our current ones. He believed that having friendly, helpful, knowledgeable employees, that are willing to offer their services with a smile would be key to a successful business.

Our team of employees are professional within their industry and proud of where they work. Tim Eastwood and Rob Boyd have continued to employ on the same basis since 1999.

There is nothing better then getting great Personal One on One service. Rustin is another example of an employee that is “Full of Smiles” at our service counter. Always friendly and willing to help.
Rob and Tim, who have owned R.James Hardware since 1999 are both actively involved in the day to day running of the business. They live and breathe R.James Hardware and are Proud to have been able to continue in Mr R.James foot steps as well as grow the business in to a modern well oiled machine.
